Paul Schmidt lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife and two boys. The three of them are smarter and funnier than he is. 

A veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, Paul is a graduate of Marquette University. He’s held other exciting positions, but this isn’t LinkedIn.

He is primarily self-taught, except for high school art classes and a few graphic design courses in college.

Paul’s artistic vision has evolved from decades of obsessive daily doodling. He strongly believes in the following principles he’s learned over the years:

5. Relentless creativity and optimism

6. Effort creates opportunity

In 2023, Paul applied for and was named as an “Emerging Artist” for the 2024 St. Louis Art Fair. He’s pretty serious about this “art thing” - stay tuned.
